Swire Shipping& Tasman Orient Line – Operations Director (2004 – 2007)

Based in Sydney and responsible for all Swire Shipping and Tasman orient Lines operational activities overseeing a budget of 600 M USD deploying 44 vessels in worldwide routes focused on multipurpose trades. The vessels are deployed on 10 routes calling 95 ports world wide and catering for in excess of 4.5 Million tonnes of conventional cargoes as well as 250,000 TEU.

Tasman Orient Line – General Manager Operations (1999 – 2004 )

Based in Auckland Vivek was responsible for successful operations after the restructuring of Tasman Asia and New Zealand Orient Line .
